Sunday's wedding was one for the books. Leah and Jerry are a perfect match and I was honored to capture this milestone for them. I can't try to say this is a "sneak peek" because it is an obvious overshare. I just couldn't help myself. <3 <3 <3
The bride started her day at her childhood home, which is only a few houses down from where I grew up. The front yard of the Burlage home is beautiful, and covered in luscious ivy that Leah's late grandfather planted and tended to for many years. I felt there was no better place to photograph detail shots, so that's what we did! Isn't the invitation from Basic Invite the coolest? And the flowers from Holly's Gardens and Floristare so happy and cheerful, perfectly matching the vibe of the day.
After spending the early afternoon at the house, we ventured to the Monroe Pearson where the rest of the day would unfold. And WOW you guys. This new Denton venue is stunning, with elegant and detailed touches around every corner (Courtney Adams Design does amazing work!!!).
The ceremony was happy and joyful, with both the bride and groom smiling from ear to ear. When the officiant declared them husband and wife, the guests broke out in uproarious applause, heartily cheering on the new union.
The reception included touching moments and toasts as well as goofy and carefree dancing under the twinkle lights. The night ended with a pretty sweet exit which consisted of waving fiber optic wands upon their departure. An epic night for an epic Denton couple who I'm happy to now call friends.
Best of luck in your newly married life. Take care of one another, love one another, and always keep smiling from ear to ear.
